Greg Saberton Design offers a fully comprehensive service, with a range of designs from basic extensions to new build housing developments. Our free consultation is just the first step in a trouble free and enjoyable experience. This includes creating the initial sketch drawings to the clients specification, obtaining planning permission from the local council, producing a detailed drawing and applying for building regulation approval. At this point the build can commence, and we liase with local building contractors if needed.

Hundon Hall Barn, Hundon, Suffolk

New Bungalow, Silt Road, Littleport
The clients had been looking to buy a bungalow for their parents for some time, but had not been able to find a property near all the amenities and close to both the Station and the village centre. This plot of land came up for sale and GSD were asked to provide drawings for both the planning application and to comply with the Building Regulations. Having successfully gained planning consent for the clients, GSD oversaw the development of the bungalow to its completion.
Dental Surgery, St Mary's Street, Ely, Cambridgeshire
The derelict former Butchers was bought by the client, with a view to transforming it into a state of the art dental surgery in the heart of the historic City of Ely. Fronting onto a conservation area, the design for the face lift of the property was going to be scrutinized by the local planning department, so careful consideration and deliberation was lavished on the facade of the property. Having met both the clients and the planners approval the building was transformed into what can be seen today.
4 Bedroom Detached House, Witcham, Cambridgeshire
Six New Dwellings at Padnal, Littleport
Our Client purchased this compact parcel of development land adjacent to a level crossing within the village. We achieved planning consent on this parcel of land for six dwellings all with allocated parking spaces and seperate amenity spaces. The site had previously been thought to be unviable as development land and had been unused for many years.
Bungalow Conversion in Witchford
The owners of this delightful Bungalow in Witchford were in need of more space but loved the location. Having carried out an informal no obligation assessment of the site, we felt confident that the bungalow could be transformed into a substantial family home, giving the owners the much needed space they craved and also enhancing the look of the property. A Planning Application was duly drawn up and full planning consent agreed. We also provided the required drawing to comply with building regulations. The owners are delighted with the resulting home and are enjoying the increased space and improvements.
Clients Vision Takes Form
Having acquired this riverside site, the client wanted to maximise their return on this exceptional site. Having carried out an in depth consultation with the local planning authority on the clients behalf, the planning for the replacement house were drawn up and approved.
The site overlooks the local Marina and also benefits from several acres of Paddocks and a bespoke Stable Block.

Rear Extension to Expand Family Home
The clients approached Greg Saberton Design with a tricky problem, they loved where they lived, but needed more internal space to meet the needs of a modern family. Having consulted witht he clients about exactly what they needed from the proposed extension, GSD came up with a Two Storey Extension that provided both much needed living space downstairs but also an extra generous bedroom on the first floor.
